Trip to the North Bay Island begins from the Andaman Water Sports Complex or from the Chatham Island in case you hire a private charter it will and an hour journey. The boats, which start from the Andaman Water Sports complex, can accommodate up to 60 people and are equipped with life jackets and life rings for your safety. The group is also accompanied by a guide who briefs you about the islands history during your travel. The journey to the island is good, if not less. The boats cannot anchor at the North Bay Island as this would significantly affect the coral reefs surrounding the island. For this reason, the boats anchor at a distance from the island and glass bottom boats are used to take you from the boat to the shore of North Bay island. You could also reach North Bay Via road by walk from Panighat. It will be an amazing and adventurous experience to reach North Bay beach by-walk. It is a muddy road about 15kms from Panighat to North Bay, the road is the devider for Andaman Plantation and the open sea and you could enjoy the walk.
