RADHA NAGAR BEACH
- Radhanagar, the most famous beach in the Andaman Islands. Crowned as “Asia’s best beach” and “7th best beach in the world” by Time Magazine. It truly is an unforgettable curve of white sand with perfectly colored blue waters, all lined by lush forest and palm trees. It is easy to enjoy this postcard perfect beach – lie down and marvel at the sunset, or go in for a quick swim.
- Due to its reputation and popularity one would expect crowds of people rushing to the beach, but the most amazingly the Radhanagar remains mostly empty compared to other popular beaches of the world. It can get bit crowded straight down the entrance but if you walk couple of hundred meters to the left or right you will be alone again.
- Radhanagar Beach is positioned just 7 kilometers away from Vijaynagar Beach and Dolphin Yatri Niwas and about 12 kms from Havelock Island. The lush and verdant trees on the side of beach offer tourists opportunity to unwind and relish the serenity and nature's charm. The breathtaking sight of sunset on this beach makes the tourists forget all the woes of life. Sunbathing, swimming and basking in the sun are the best activities to enjoy on Radhanagar Beach.
VIJAYA NAGAR BEACH
- Vijayanagar beach is beach no. 5 on the east cost of Havelock Island. It is a calm and quiet beach and attracts people who want to get away from the maddening crowd. It is a white sand beach with turquoise blue water. The beach is lined by coconut trees, under which you can drink, read or just take a nap. The Silver sand resort will be a good stay option and another one is beautiful government resort-Dolphin Yatri Niwas, which is run by the Tourism Department.
- Sunrise at Vijaynagar beach is visually engaging with the sky changing colors significantly every minute and the sea reflecting the colours in all directions. The beach provides various water-sports activities like snorkelling, scuba-diving and fishing.
The water is shallow & clean and is, therefore, perfect for swimming and surfing. Its scenic surroundings, pristine Mahua vegetation along the coast, azure waters, and tranquil sceneries ensure a relaxed vacation. Tourist, take a great pleasure in taking a long walk along the beach during the sunsets. Carry substantial amount of cash, as there are hardly any ATM centers at Vijaynagar.
